Elephants in Thailand NEED YOU

Behind their eyes is a lifetime of suffering.

For an elephant to accept a human on their back, they must first have their instinct and spirit crushed. Baby elephants are chained, starved, beaten, and isolated while learning to submit to human control.

An elderly elephant trapped in the tourism industry has suffered for a lifetime, forced to perform and carry humans on her back day in, day out.

Will you donate now to help give traumatised elephants a safe and happy home, and stop future generations of elephants from being exploited for human greed?

Elephant crush

Help create a safe home for rescued elephants

Right now, YOU have a unique opportunity to help create more sanctuaries for elephants who have been rescued from the cruel tourism industry.

More than 3000 elephants are currently suffering in Thai riding camps. Many will have been through “the crush” – a barbaric training process designed to crush an elephant’s spirit so that they accept strangers on their back. Now they are living a life of misery in the name of tourist dollars.

Help build new sanctuaries with your DONATION TODAY.

New homes are desperately needed in Thailand, to provide a place for traumatised elephants to heal and live in peace. Thanks to kind people like you, we’ve already proven our model works – with THREE successful sanctuaries already offering compassionate care.

But more elephants urgently need your help. Will you help create another cruelty-free sanctuary for them?

Look at the photo. You can SEE and FEEL her pain and misery.

This photo is from undercover footage the barbaric training process designed baby elephant’s go through so that they will accept human commands.

An undercover World Animal Protection investigation showed eight baby elephants who have been ripped from their mums. Some were put into a hard wooden contraption so they can’t move. Some were chained and beaten with sticks.

One trainer said that a mother elephant had to be chained up for two months before she would stop screaming and searching for her baby.

Here, baby elephant OonBoon is taken on a walk through the village so that she can get used to crowds and loud noises. She remains hobbled, so she can’t run away or kick. She becomes scared and tries to stop, but she is roughly pulled along and punished for misbehaving.
