Help prevent needless deaths.
You can help stop the fear, stop the cruelty and stop rabies.
Can you imagine having to kill your own dog to protect yourself?
It’s a horrific choice, and sadly, in some countries a cruel fate that awaits many loving pets every day.
In Kenya, stray and free-roaming dogs are victims to mass cullings, but family pets are also at risk.
People fear dogs as they carry the rabies disease, which according to endrabiesnow.org, kills an estimated 523 people every year in Kenya. The only way the people know how to deal with this fear is to kill the dogs – often having to resort to inhumane methods such as clubbing, hanging or poisoning.
Up to 10 million dogs are inhumanely killed every year in the name of rabies or other conflicts.
That equates to 20 dogs every minute.
These animals need your help to show people and governments there is a better way to stop the spread of rabies. All it takes to end this cruelty is a simple vaccination.
Vaccinating 70% of the population of dogs creates a barrier of healthy, immune dogs that stops the spread of the disease, and in time eradicates it from an area.
It is extremely important that we continue to vaccinate dogs every year, to ensure rabies cannot spread, and cruelty to dogs for fear of the disease stops.
You can help save dogs lives today, by donating a generous gift which could help provide vaccinations, deworm and treat dogs with antibiotics, educate people in responsible pet ownership, and protect vulnerable animals around the world.
Please give generously.
$40 could help vaccinate dogs against rabies.
$80 could help de-worm and treat dogs with antibiotics.
$150 could help provide education on rabies, dog welfare and responsible dog ownership.
